MAPAS Mercado closes its fifth edition

The Market of the Performing Arts of the South Atlantic, MAPAS Market, closed this Saturday, July 9, its fifth edition in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with the third of the days dedicated to the performing arts. A Saturday in which MAPAS Mercado completed, in the afternoon, the theater and dance program with the representation of proposals from the Canary Islands, Portugal and Uruguay. The company Formiga Atomica (Portugal) opened this last day in La Granja with The walk of the elephants. Programmers and programmers, along with the general public who attended the call for the cultural market, were also able to discover in the Tenerife Auditorium the production INA, by Tenerife's Paloma Hurtado and Daniel Morales; in the Guimerá, the National Comedy of Uruguay with the play Constant; and the company from Gran Canaria La Escrig Producciones with I killed Kurt Cobain. In the morning, the day was focused on two calls for networking among professionals of the performing arts, in the Tenerife Auditorium; and the presentation at a press conference of a report by the Insular Federation, which brings together performing arts companies from the Canary and Balearic Islands.
