The day includes a wide representation of Canarian scenic and musical groups that will perform at La Granja, Teatro Guimerá and Auditorio de Tenerife
MAPAS presents this Saturday, July 14, a complete program of 16 performances that include theater, dance and music, among which the acclaimed play stands out. Mendoza, by Los Colochos, considered by critics as the best international theatrical work that passed through Spain last year, which will be performed at the Sala La Granja from 10pm. It is a brutal adaptation of Macbeth transferred to the reality of the Aztec country, which has traveled to important international festivals and has already performed more than 300 performances.
The Canarian group Abubukaka will open the day at the Guimerá Theater at 4:00 p.m., with Dracula The representation of Canarian artists continues with Javier Infante & Jose Alberto Medina; La República Theater, which will represent Citizen Yago; Andrés Molina; Jose Alberto Medina & Joses; Poison Dj Arrocín; Nomadic Company and Contraband Material.
MAPAS, an initiative organized by the Cabildo de Tenerife, unahoramenos and Circulart, also proposes this Saturday dance with the Mexican company A Poc A Poc, which will represent its show First love. A system of subtle correspondences; the jazz of Jazznesis & Mar (Jaume Vilaseca Trío); or the Colombian theater Teatro Petra, who will perform their play Yor I'm not crazy.
Haitian musician Wesli will close the day, around 11:20 p.m., with his show InmiGrand, in the Symphonic Hall of the Tenerife Auditorium. Wesli is a troubadour and artist who fuses Afrobeat, reggae and Haitian weird in an energetic and irresistible performance. The multi-instrumentalist composer and producer testifies on behalf of his people to a festive, original and exciting musical universe, conquering hearts and minds.
This Saturday MAPAS, an initiative that is part of the Tenerife 2030 strategy, ends its programming aimed exclusively at professionals with the second round of the business conference, which is held at TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes.
