Local creativity is present in MAPS. Sixty-six projects and Canarian artists participate in the second edition of this great cultural forum. Creators who will rub shoulders with other creators and who will have the chance to talk to managers and programmers of theaters, festivals, cultural spaces and other events of the three continents.
Connecting and building bridges with artistic projects from other latitudes and sharing the feeling of enjoyment of the living arts becomes the objective of the agents of the island's cultural sector in this event. Each proposal, featuring different disciplines, will find the visibility provided by artistic exhibitions, business meetings or training.
MAPAS will also be a platform to facilitate the closing of agreements for the distribution, commercialization and worldwide diffusion of the culture made in the Canary Islands through a format that covers their needs. As is the case of many of the Canarian artists who participated in the first edition, who found in this market an impulse to internationalize their projects. Some have attended festivals and other markets in Mexico, Costa Rica, Korea or Colombia.
Doors that open to the creation of the Islands, a boost to the value of artists by promoting their ability to generate opportunities for the development of the sector.
