The South Atlantic Performing Arts Market, MAPAS 2019, which will be held from 10 to 14 July in Tenerife, will bring together artists, companies and agencies from Africa, America and Southern Europe with presenters from all over the world.
Once again, the Cabildo de Tenerife, unahoramenos Producciones (Canarias) and Circulart (Colombia), organizers of MAPAS 2019, are preparing with great enthusiasm this global meeting to which we want to invite artistic directors, curators, cultural commisioners, cultural managers of public or private institutions, responsible for space programming and entrepreneurs of the industries of performative arts (music, theater, dance, circus arts and street arts).
From today, December 4, 2018, you can access the web www.mapasmercadocultural.com to register and take part in MAPAS 2019 business networking, an unparalleled opportunity to meet innovative artistic proposals from three continents in a space of cultural exchange where to share the interest in the promotion of the performing arts industry and its international projection.
This year we present as a novelty the participation of booking, management and distribution agencies, which will allow us to complete our proposal and strengthen our support to international circulation and the professionalization of cultural activity by creators, programmers and institutions.
Registration is free and it will allow you to participate in business meetings and parallel activities, as well as attending a complete program of performances. In its first two editions MAPAS gathered more than 250 artistic groups with more than 300 programmers from 40 countries.
