The Symphonic Hall, the Chamber Hall of the <strong>Tenerife Auditorium<\/strong> and the Plaza Castillo will be the stages in which the talent of the South Atlantic will be displayed that this market of the performing arts has selected for its third edition. All performances will last half an hour and will be free and open access until full capacity is reached.<\/p>\n<p>This professional meeting of the performing arts and music, organized by the Cabildo de Tenerife, unahoramenos and Circulart, will put on the main stages of the capital of Tenerife a total of <strong>59 artistic samples from 23 countries<\/strong>. The musical proposals will reach <strong>MAPS 2019<\/strong> from Algeria, Burkina Faso, Chad, Ghana, Morocco, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Tunisia, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Venezuela and Spain, six of them from the Canary Islands.<\/p>\n<p>The first to set the pace <strong>MAPS 2019<\/strong> it will be the colombian <strong>Diana Burco<\/strong>, which will perform in Plaza Castillo from 9:30 p.m., just after the opening show, by Lava, the Auditorio de Tenerife dance company, which will premiere\u00a0<em>Abyssal<\/em>\u00a0in the Symphonic Hall at 8:00 p.m. Diana Burco, singer-songwriter, accordionist and actress with more than ten years of experience in the folk music scene of Colombia, is one of the female referents of vallenato. His first album, released in 2018, earned a Latin Grammy nomination in the category of best cumbia \/ vallenato album. Behind her, in the Symphony Hall, <strong>Alex Alvear Threesome<\/strong> will bring to <strong>MAPAS<\/strong> From Ecuador\u00a0<em>Wa\u00f1ukta Tonic,\u00a0<\/em>a journey through the sounds of a country that is defined by its eclecticism and diversity, a sound encounter between Andean tradition and universal avant-garde.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, July 11, the music shows will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Symphonic Hall with the canaries <strong>Socos Duo<\/strong>. C\u00e9sar Mart\u00edn (marimba) and Ciro Hern\u00e1ndez (cello) make up this formation that moves away from the conventional with compositions inspired by the different facets of art, with influences from folklore, jazz or post-minimalism. After him, at 9:00 p.m., it will be the turn for the <strong>Gran Canaria Big Band and Germ\u00e1n L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, which will reinterpret the musician Jos\u00e9 Antonio Ramos. This band has more than 50 musical projects produced and four record works, one of them published in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the night will be for the African sounds, in the Plaza Castillo with <strong>AfrotroniX<\/strong>, from Chad, who won the Best African DJ award in 2018 and combines electronic music with African rhythms and electric touareg blues. Later, at 10:30 p.m. and on the same stage the Moroccan quartet <strong>N3RDISTAN<\/strong> will offer a bold, unusual and avant-garde fusion.
