TheMarket of the Performative Arts of the South Atlantic, MAPS 2019<\/a><\/strong>, will have 150 program managers and cultural managers<\/strong> that will arrive in Tenerife from 40 countries around the world<\/strong> to participate in the third edition of this international meeting that will be held between July 10 and 14. Here they will have the opportunity to hold professional meetings with 166 artistic groups and agencies from 35 countries in Africa, Latin America and Southern Europe and to witness the 60 artistic exhibitions that have been organized for those five days.<\/span><\/p>\n

The business roundtable - short professional meetings between programmers, artists and agencies<\/span>-<\/span> will take place in TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes on July 12 and 13<\/strong>. To these will be added a complete professional program that will include training and informative activities and discussion tables that will have speakers of international relevance, as well as\u00a0 <\/span>meetings of institutions linked to music and the performing arts from around the world. <\/span><\/p>\n

Many of the programmers who have signed up to participate in MAPS 2019<\/strong> They come from Southern Europe (Spain, France and Portugal) and Latin America, with a significant presence of program managers from Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile. <\/span><\/p>\n

The participation of programmers from the African continent will also be high, with professionals arriving from Cape Verde, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Niger or South Africa, among others. MAPS 2019 will also feature programmers from South Korea, Australia, Germany, Canada, the United States, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, Georgia, Ireland and Romania.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The last edition of MAPS, held in 2018, hosted more than 3,500 business meetings between programmers and artists from three continents<\/strong>, while the artistic exhibitions, open to the public, reached 16,000 attendees. <\/span><\/p>\n
