MAPAS<\/a><\/strong> begins today, July 9, the activities aimed at professionals in the performing and musical arts, which inaugurate a whole week of professional programming and artistic exhibitions that will culminate next Sunday. The personalized tutorials, which the trainers will give between today and tomorrow Thomas Muhr<\/a> Y Marcelo bones<\/a> at the Guimer\u00e1 Theater, they are the first two activities planned, aimed at the groups registered in the business roundtables. They will participate in them 16 musical and 16 performing arts projects<\/strong>, who will arrive with their confirmed appointment agendas and will be able to answer questions and receive specific guidance to face these meetings successfully.<\/p>\n

The Wednesday July 11<\/a> the training agenda continues with two master classes<\/strong> which will be taught at the TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes Cylinder in the morning, at 9:30 and 12:00. Tom\u00e1s Muhr will speak first about\u00a0Management and circulation models in Latin America<\/em>, aimed at musical projects, and Marcelo Bones will do so later around the\u00a0Overview of internationalization within the framework of MAPAS<\/em>, oriented to performing arts projects.<\/p>\n

MAPS, an initiative organized by the Cabildo de Tenerife, unahoramenos and Circulart, will also dedicate a space to to introduce Canarian performing arts artists<\/strong> and to all interested people the possibilities it offers Iberescena<\/strong>, an Ibero-American Cooperation Program for the Performing Arts made up of 14 countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.<\/p>\n

This is a practical workshop to be held Thursday July 12<\/a>, from 9:00 a.m., in the auditorium of the Museum of Nature and Man and that will give Guillermo Heras<\/strong>, stage director, playwright and cultural manager, who is currently the technical secretary of the Iberescena Program and director of the Spanish Theater Show of Contemporary Authors in Alicante.<\/p>\n

Those attending this workshop will be able to know in detail the lines of economic aid proposed by Iberescena and, in addition, Guillermo Heras will address the need to develop programs that help consolidate the circulation of scenic proposals in the Ibero-American area.<\/p>\n

This activity, which is free, like all those that are programmed in MAPAS<\/strong>It is open to people who want to attend and the capacity is limited to 100 people, although registration is not required.<\/p>\n

The Thursday July 12<\/a> activities continue with the celebration of three round tables<\/strong> under the generic name of Panorama in perspective, in which various matters of interest will be addressed, and in which leading professionals in the international arena will participate. These meetings will be held at TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes and at the Museum of Nature and Man:<\/p>\n

- The new music scene and its spaces for circulation in Africa and Latin America (TEA, at 10:20 am). Moderated by Tom\u00e1s Muhr, it will feature Sergio Arbel\u00e1ez and Cristina Estrada.<\/p>\n

- Performing arts (Museum of Nature and Man, at 10:20 am). It will have Antonio Lozano as moderator and will participate in it Juan Meli\u00e1, Fabio Rubiano, Mar\u00eda Sanchez, Hassan Kouyat\u00e9, Noela Salas and Babacar Ba.<\/p>\n

- Other voices, other areas (TEA, at 11:40 am). It will be moderated by Sergio Arbel\u00e1ez and will feature Bill Bragin, Jordana Leight, Millie Milgate and Beatriz Pizano.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The<\/strong> training is one of the fundamental axes around which MAPAS revolves<\/strong>, a meeting that is integrated into the Tenerife 2030 strategy, as it is an essential element for the development of the musical and scenic industries. Culture needs to have solvent structures that allow its growth and viability and for this reason, for several months now, the MAPAS organization has given special importance to the educational field as an action that allows the consolidation, dissemination and expansion of artistic projects.<\/p>\n

All these proposals, together with the opportunities for exchanging experiences that are provided for all attendees at MAPAS, consolidate the commitment of the South Atlantic Performing Arts Market for training as one of its main objectives, promoting and strengthening related initiatives to the performing and musical arts, reinforcing their viability and contributing to the launch of artistic proposals.<\/p>\n
