Sogolon puppet troupe company of Yaya Coulibaly whose creation dates back to October 1980, was the first puppet troupe in Mali. It makes a set of independent artistic formations. The fundamental mission of the Sogolon troupe is to contribute to the creation and promotion of Bamanan, Somono and Bozo puppet theater in its diversity of expression.
